About our lab

The ProHealth Laboratory was founded in 1998. From the start, we’ve been recognized as a leading clinical laboratory. We're known for our great staff, high standards and faster results compared to other major labs.

Our equipment is among the best in outpatient labs in the state. We offer a wide range of tests, from routine blood draws to specialized services. And we serve only ProHealth patients.

Our services

If you need a blood test, you can have your blood drawn in a ProHealth office. Appointments are available on short notice. As a top major lab in Connecticut, you can expect the following.

We process nearly all samples in our lab. The tests we offer include:

  • Blood panels
  • COVID-19 tests
  • STD tests
  • Lyme disease tests
  • Thyroid tests
  • Urine testing

Fast turnaround times on tests. Results can be available in as few as 12 hours. This is a significant improvement from the average wait time of 1 to 2 days from an external lab. Results are available immediately to patients with a ProHealth MyChart patient portal account.

No paperwork, no problem. No paperwork or lab orders needed. Our phlebotomist can easily look up your order in the system. You will also get a text reminder of your lab appointment so you won’t forget to get your blood work done.*
