Changes to the specialty services we offer

As of Thursday, August 31, 2023, ProHealth Physicians will no longer offer sleep medicine services. All sleep medicine locations, including our sleep study labs, will permanently close after the last patient appointment on that day.

If you have a ProHealth Physicians primary care provider, they continue to be available to care for you.

We encourage you to keep seeing a sleep specialist for your care

You may be able to stay with your current sleep specialist if they join a new medical group. As this information becomes available, we will post it below.

You may select the sleep specialist of your choice for yourself or your family. For your convenience we have included the contact information for other medical groups below.

Give us permission to release your medical records

Here is a HIPAA-compliant medical record authorization form. This allows us to give a copy of your medical records to you or the sleep specialist of your choice. Please complete the form and return it to us as soon as possible to:

Updates on sleep medicine clinicians

Our Sleep Centers are now closed, but our phones will stay open until November 2, 2023. 

If you are a current patient and have an issue that can't wait until you find a new specialist, please contact your primary care provider or call us at 1-860-507-0602 for help.­­ For all other clinical concerns, please contact your primary care provider.

Dr. Richard Shoup has decided to retire upon the closure of ProHealth’s Sleep Services on November 2, 2023.
