We're here to support you

Our Meriden pediatric office will join their colleagues in our Wallingford pediatric office at 1062 Barnes Road on June 27, 2025. We know that this change might be hard for some. 

These FAQs cover everything from general to transportation questions. We'll add more information as we have it. Please save or bookmark this page. If you don’t find the answer to your question below, please reach out to us in MyChart message or by phone.

General move questions

  • Our Meriden pediatric office will join their colleagues in our Wallingford pediatric office at 1062 Barnes Road on June 27, 2025.

    OR

  • By joining our resources, we will have a larger team of pediatricians, nurses, and staff. This decision was made to ensure we can continue providing high-quality care to our patients.

  • Once we move, all scheduled appointments will be at the same date and time but be at 1062 Barnes Road, Wallingford.

  • Once we move, our new office name will be ProHealth Physicians Pediatrics, Wallingford to represent the unity of our care teams at this location. Our new phone number will be 1-203-294-6328.

  • Our office hours will stay as Mon–Thurs from 8am–6pm and Friday from 8am–5pm. Plus, Saturdays from 8:30am–1pm. Appointment times will stay the same in our Wallingford office.

  • All ProHealth patient medical records are saved in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Your medical records will automatically be available to your pediatrician at our Wallingford office. There is nothing you need to do.

  • In April, we sent a letter to our Meriden patients with more information and answers to frequently asked questions. We will be updating our frequently asked questions as we have more information. Please bookmark this page to check back.

Location and accessibility

  • Our office will be moving to 1062 Barnes Road in Wallingford. You’ll find our suite on the first floor, right after you come in through the main doors.

  • It is roughly a 10-minute drive from your current office in Meriden to the new Wallingford location. 

    OR

  • The office building we’re moving to is immediately off I-91, Exit 15. It’s right next to a Courtyard by Marriott. You can also get there easily via back roads. Please be sure your directions are taking you to 1062 Barnes Road. There is a different pediatric office also on Barnes, farther up the road.

  • There is a free parking lot with plenty of spaces right outside the building.

  • We understand that transportation can be a concern, and we want you to have the information you need. The new office at 1062 Barnes Road in Wallingford is not on a bus route. We know this might make it harder to get there. We have a care coordination team at ProHealth that you can call. They can talk to you about resources and help you with options to get the support you need.

    HUSKY members: HUSKY Medicaid provides medical transportation for your appointments. To arrange this, call 1-855-478-7350. Planning ahead is recommended to ensure a smooth process.

Continuity of care

  • We know that this move might be hard for some patients. We are looking into ways we can support your family. We will share more information about care options as soon as possible. Please check back by calling our office number.

  • You can call your health plan for help finding a doctor close to you who accepts your insurance. If you find a new pediatrician outside of ProHealth, please download our Medical Record Release form. Fill out the form and send a signed copy to us at 1062 Barnes Road, Wallingford, CT 06492.

  • Yes. Dr. Susan Lelko and Dr. Rena Aroesty will both be moving to our Wallingford office. We know that your relationship with your pediatrician is important. We would be delighted for you to keep seeing them in Wallingford.

  • We hope you can stay with ProHealth. We have offices across the state, and there may be an option that works for you. To find other locations, call our office number and press #1 to speak with our patient scheduling team.

  • If you have a medical concern that needs attention but isn’t life-threatening, start with us. We’ll guide you to the right place for care. In case of life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room (ER).

  • We’ve been talking about options for a new ProHealth Physicians primary care and pediatrics building in the Meriden/Wallingford area. There’s no set timeline or plan for this in place at this time. When we know more, we’ll let you know.
